Harvey Weinstein allegedly reeked of poop during his sexual assault attacks on his victims, a new book, “Hollywood Ending: Harvey Weinstein and the Culture of Silence,” claims. Following its release earlier this month, the book has already garnered exceptional reviews from a heap of publications, including Bloomberg, The Daily Beast, The Washington Post, and Air Mail, who wrote in their review, “You think you know everything about the deplorable Harvey Weinstein? You don’t.”
Author Ken Auletta certainly didn’t hold back in his extensive investigation into the former film producer and convicted sex offender, who is believed to have abused more than 100 women throughout his time serving as one of the most powerful men in Hollywood with his Miramax company. During a chat with Fox News, Ken said, “[He] had some notion in his head that his body was attractive,” despite witnesses asserting he smelled of poop and had genitals that “looked like a vagina,” while his back was covered in “uncomfortable” blackheads.

Yet, “he really thought he was God’s gift, a Don Juan,” Ken continued. The book includes information he gathered from conversations with several people who once worked at Miramax, along with dozens of accusers and even Bob Weinstein, who was once a long-standing business partner of the disgraced 55-year-old and co-founder of the aforementioned media firm.
In one excerpt of the book, Ken talks about Jessica Mann taking to the stand during Harvey’s trial, telling the court how he had raped her as she recounted the horrific experience of being in the same room as the New Yorker. “I remember the district attorney passed around pictures [at his 2020 trial] … and the jurors barely looked at them,” Ken explained.
“They just showed them to the next person. They were that disgusted. They had no interest in looking at these pictures. I remember I kept looking at Harvey. He would just sit in his chair without expression. Sometimes he fell asleep.”
In March 2020, Harvey was sentenced to 23 years in prison after being found guilty of criminal sexual acts in the first degree and rape in the third degree. The sentence was handed to him during a hearing at the Manhattan Criminal Court, where Judge James Burke said, “This is your first conviction, but not your first offense.”

There were several accusers that were present for the hearing, including a costume designer, who had accused Harvey of pushing her to have threesomes with him and an assistant if she wanted to receive credible opportunities in Hollywood. Another woman, who said she had been groped by Harvey and a female who alleged she had been forced to perform oral sex on him were also in court.
Prosecutor Joan Illuzzi commended the women for their courage to come forward and share their truth, saying, “Without these women and others who were willing to come forward, this matter would never have been able to be taken, it never would have been successful, and the defendant would never have been able to stop hurting or destroying other people’s lives.
