Shanna Moakler reacts to ex-husband Travis Barker’s hospitalization: “I know he is in great hands and surrounded by loving support & his beautiful wife Kourtney”
Travis Barker’s ex-wife Shanna Moakler is thanking fans for showing him love and support following his recent hospitalization for pancreatitis.
In a statement to Page Six, Moakler said, Thank you to everyone who has reached out with concern to my ex and father of my children,” the former model, 47, told the out, just two days after Barker, 46, was rushed to the hospital in Los Angeles. “I know he is in great hands and surrounded by loving support and the best medical teams available and his beautiful wife Kourtney.”
She went on to say, “I pray for a speedy recovery and for the comfort of my children as I know they are very concerned and worried. I know with his support system he will do it again,” she added. “I will always be there for him and my children.”
Moakler, who shares son Landon, 18, and daughter Alabama, 16, with the Blink-182 drummer mentioned how Barker has “beat the odds” before.
As Page Six notes, in 2008, Barker survived a horrible plane crash that killed four people and left him with third-degree burns on over 65 percent of his body. He had another incident in 2018: he was rushed to the hospital again after doctors found blood clots in his arm. Just recently, he was taken to West Hills Hospital and Medical Center on Tuesday before being transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles for additional care. His pancreas became inflamed following a recent colonoscopy procedure. His wife, Kourtney Kardashian, 43, and his kids have been his side.
