Prosecutors Drop Charges Against Two Correctional Officers On Duty During Jeffrey Epstein’s Suicide

Federal prosecutors in New York have dropped the charges against the two correctional officers who were on duty at the time of Jeffrey Epstein’s suicide. Tova Noel and Michael Thomas, have been cleared of the charges.

As we reported, Epstein is reported to have committed suicide in August 2019 at the Metropolitan Correctional Center, where he was awaiting trial for multiple sex trafficking charges.

Noel and Thomas were accused of allegedly falsifying government records and falling asleep on the job while they were supposed to be watching Epstein. Prior to his death, Epstein told a BOP psychologist that “I have no interest in killing myself.”

However, an email from the unknown inmate suggested otherwise,

“Jeffrey Epstein definitely killed himself. Any conspiracy theories to the contrary are ridiculous,” the inmate wrote to the BOP. “He wanted to kill himself and seized the opportunity when it was available.”

Recently, Ghislaine Maxwell, the longtime partner of serial sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, was found guilty on five of six counts associated to the alleged abuse and trafficking of underage girls.
