Coroner Confirms The Flash’s Logan Williams Died of Accidental Fentanyl Overdose

Recently, Hollywood has been plagued by a string of deaths due to reported accidental overdoses, and the main culprit has been Fentanyl.

A coroner has confirmed that Logan Williams’ cause of death has been confirmed as an accidental Fentanyl overdose.

PEOPLE  reports that the Coroners Service of British Columbia ruled that the 16-year-old actor died of “unintentional illicit drug toxicity (fentanyl).”

“Toxicological analysis detected fentanyl in a range where lethal outcomes have been reported,” the coroner said. “Even small amounts of fentanyl have been shown to be potentially toxic.”

Williams played a teenage Barry Allen on the CW series, “The Flash.”

The report also added that Logan “struggled with mental health concerns and had a history of consuming illicit substances.”

“In 2019, he came into the care of the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD),” the report added. “Support services were provided including residential treatment; however, Logan often declined to participate.

Logan’s mom, Marlyse Williams, previosuly spoke to The Post about her son’s opioid addiction from a young age, and how she hopes to bring awareness to it.

“His death is not going to be in vain,” she said. “He’s going to help a lot of people down the road.”

Logan starred in thrHallmark series “When Calls the Heart,” the ABC sci-fi series “The Whispers” and the CW series “Supernatural.”
