Tre Brown, 19, was arrested earlier this week after it was revealed he created over 40 false returns for items that were priced from $78 to $87,000 as reported by Fox News Atlanta. Brown removed the money from the fake returns and place them on credit cards to purchase clothing, guns, shoes, and two vehicles. Two Kroger employees discovered the scam and contacted the police.
After arresting Brown, officers managed to return at least most of the money to the Kroger store on Steve Reynolds Boulevard.
