Felicity Huffman’s College Admission’s Scandal Sentence Complete, Off Of Supervised Release

Desperate housewife, Felicity Huffman is officially a free woman.

TMZ reports that the actress is off of supervised release, meaning that she has completed her two-week prison sentence and her 250 hours of community service.

Huffman served just 11 days in prison in 2019 for her role in the national scandal that exposed the elite who paid into schemes that got their children into some of the country’s best schools. On Wednesday, she requested the return of her passport so that she could travel again.

“At the time of her initial appearance Ms. Huffman surrendered her passport without objection to the United States Probation and Pretrial Services Office,” her request to the U.S. District Court said.

As we previously reported, Huffman pleaded guilty on May 13 while admitting she paid $15,000 to arrange for a college entrance exam proctor to correct her daughter Sophia’s SAT answers and for her daughter to be allowed more time to take the test.

During her sentencing hearing on Sept. 13, Huffman tearfully told the Judge that she accepted her punishment “without reservation.”

“I broke the law,” Huffman said in court. “I have admitted that and I pleaded guilty to this crime. There are no excuses or justifications for my actions. Period.”
