Tokyo Jetz Canceled On Twitter After Joking ‘I’mma George Floyd Yo A**’

Jacksonville, Florida rapper Tokyo Jetz is making headlines, and it isn’t for her music. Instead, the femcee, who is signed to T.I.‘s Grand Hustle record label, is being canceled on Twitter, and platforms alike, after a viral video shows her putting her hairdresser in a headlock, joking, “I’mma George Floyd yo motherf**king a**.”

After the video made its rounds, social media blasted Jetz and her “tasteless” and “insensitive” comments about George Floyd, the black man who was killed by a white police officer in Minneapolis, Minn. last week.While our nation is still in mourning and protesting daily over the preventable death of Floyd, Jetz’s reckless remarks have sparked hundreds of replies criticizing her and canceling her.

As Jetz limits her comments on Instagram, Twitter users blast her, with one writing, “Last week Tokyo Jetz was on here exposing black men who hate black women .. this week she is making fun of the murder of a black man,” and another demanding, “Ima need Clifford Harris to expeditiously nullify her contract like he took that necklace from new New.”
