Comedians Steve Carell and Seth Rogen are amongst the few celebrities who are donating money to the Minnesota Freedom Fund to help bail out protesters.

Amid the tragic death of George Floyd, celebrities have been using their platforms to show solidarity with protesters to fight for justice against police brutality. On Twitter, several users have been matching donations to the non-profit organization, the Minnesota Freedom Fund, to help protestors with bailout money. Rogen and Carell did not disclose how much money was donated but matched it with their colleagues in Hollywood.

Earlier today, Colin Kaepernick also announced an initiative to help Minnesota protestors with their legal fees and teamed up with the lawyers in Minneapolis to support their cases.

Other celebrities such as Cardi B, Ice Cube, and Beyonce have spoken out about Floyd’s untimely death. On Beyonce’s website homepage, the headline reads “Rest In Power George Floyd” alongside a school portrait of Floyd.
