Democratic Presidential nominee Joe Biden faced backlash on social media after the clip was leaked earlier this morning. Biden said in his apology that “nobody should have for any party based on their race” during a conference call with the U.S Black Chamber of Commerce early Friday afternoon.

” I should not have been so cavalier. I’ve never, never, ever taken the African-American community for granted, I shouldn’t have been such a wise guy.’

Before Biden issued his apology, President Donald Trump’s campaign team took advantage of the clip and sent out Sen, Tim Scott, and Katrina Pierson. Scott called Biden’s comment ‘the most arrogant, condescending comment I’ve heard in a long time’ during a segment with Fox Business Network.

Pierson also said she was open to the idea of the President being interviewed on The Breakfast Club with Charlamagne:

‘I’m a big fan of going to places where our voices aren’t really heard because most of the listeners on either these radio programs, these podcasts, even some of these TV shows only get to hear one version and the caricature that gets painted of people like myself.
