Louisiana Pastor Who Called COVID-19 Parishioner Deaths Sacrifices, Now Asks For Stimulus Check Donations
Earlier this month, we reported on the Louisiana pastor who defied lockdown orders and called COVID-19 parishioner deaths sacrifices for God, is now asking America for stimulus check donations.
Pastor Tony Spell, of the Life Tabernacle Church in Baton Rouge, launched a campaign, called the #PastorSpellStimulusChallenge, in which he encourages Americans to donate their government stimulus checks to some evangelists, missionaries and music ministers who’ve been without offerings in over a month, and do not qualify for stimulus money.

While announcing his challenge, he adds that he, his wife and his son have all donated their checks, and noted that any US residents who don’t belong to a church, can donate via his website.
Furthermore, Spell’s challenge arrives after his defiance in the local and federal government-mandated emergency orders to close all non-essential businesses.

Following his defiane, Baton Rouge police issued him a misdemeanor summons for six counts of violating the executive order prohibiting large gatherings.
