New York rapper 6ix9ine (formerly Tekashi 6ix9ine) is chiming in on the snitching and rat allegations and controversy surrounding Atlanta rapper Young Thug.
Amid Atlanta’s 2022 YSL RICO case, YSL rapper Gunna was slammed and labeled a rat and a snitch across social media. While Young Thug never directly confirmed nor denied the “one of wun” rapper being a snitch, he did troll the claims.
In a turn of events, as Gunna drops his latest album and still continues to receive support, Young Thug is facing his own rat/snitch allegations after old audio leaked from his interrogation following the 2015 shooting of New Orleans rapper Lil Wayne’s tour bus.
In the case, Thug’s childhood friend and YSL associate PeeWee Roscoe was convicted for shooting up Weezy’s bus. Reacting to the leaked audio, social media critics accuse Thug of snitching on Roscoe. However, he continuously denies being a rat, claiming he didn’t snitch; and plus, the audio was never played in court.
6ix9ine Reacts To Young Thug Rat & Snitching Allegations, Questions Why Lil Baby, 21 Savage, And Future Are So Quiet
Now, 6ix9ine is chiming in and wondering why Thug’s fellow Atlanta rappers and friends won’t come to his defense or say anything at all. He specifically called out Lil Baby, Future, and 21 Savage.
6ix9ine — who famously cooperated with the federal government in his own RICO case involving the Nine Trey Gangsters back in 2018 — proudly recalled telling on his co-defendants. However, he said they weren’t his real friends.
6ix9ine began his video and said, “Yo, I just want to know where all the energy at. The Young Thug situation. I stood quiet two days just watching it play out. Watching what excuses that people come up with. Every day, every year, every time a n***a come out, y’all move the goalpost further, further, further, further.”
The rapper proceeded to mimic people moving the goal post, “Oh, nah, bro. It’s different. No, it’s different, bro. It’s different, bro. It’s different. You told like before 12 in the afternoon. Like that’s a forbidden rule. You can’t do that. He… No, bro, it’s okay, bro, because he told after three, like, like…” 6ix9ine continued to address these types of people and Young Thug’s audio leak. He said:
“Bro, it’s so easy. They tell you, ‘You have to right to remain silent. Anything you say can be used against you in the court of law.’ Whatever the f**k the case is. ‘You have the right to call an attorney right now.’ You spoke for two hours, two hours. I’m not—it’s me beating a horse. Like, I’m not saying that. Y’all heard what y’all heard. Where’s all the energy at? Why, I hear everybody quiet? Lil Baby, 21 Savage, Future, why you not say nothing?
And I’mma leave this sh*t real clear. Me, I do not give a f**k. I don’t care. I don’t give a f**k. Since I came home, y’all know it. I wear my sh*t. I wear my—I wore my sh*t from day one. Yeah, I did it in what? I’m outside. Y’all know I’m outside. I’m outside, n***a.I never told on my friends. I don’t tell all my friends, n***a. Them n***as wasn’t my mans, n***a. Y’all know they wasn’t my mans. That’s what hurt y’all. ‘Like, damn, like, he’s right. Awww, he’s right! I hate this n***a.’ Yeah. These n***as telling all they friends. N***as didn’t ask him. They said, ‘Take my number. here’s my number. Call me, but don’t tell nobody you got my number.’ What? What? Like, like what?”
