50 Cent Reacts To Lil Wayne Having Microphone Issues Opening For Beyoncé Days After 50 Was Seen Hurling Faulty Microphones At Woman

After Lil Wayne was seen having microphone issues while opening for Beyoncé at LA’s SoFi Stadium, 50 Cent recalls his own issues days before at LA’s Crypto.com Arena, and he seemingly uses Wayne’s incident to justify his frustration; which led to him hurling two faulty microphones into the side stage, where a woman was standing, leaving her brutally battered with a bloody forehead.

As we shared late last week, the “In Da Club” rapper was performing at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium for his ‘The Final Lap’ tour. While he was on stage Los Angeles rapper YG, 50 was seen having difficulty with at least two different microphones that production tried to swap out for him.

After the first microphone didn’t appear to work, 50 is seen on camera throwing the microphone down into the crowd on the side stage, where media and production team members stood watching the show. After being given another microphone, 50 realized it that one also didn’t work and clearly became even more frustrated. Taking the second faulty microphone, 50 is seen aggressively hurling it down into the same area.

However, this time around, the microphone hits a woman in her head, leaving a pretty deep gash and blood pouring from her forehead. After video from the incident went viral, and photos from the victim, identified as Bryhana Monegain – a host at LA’s Power 106 Radio – 50 was listed as a suspect in a criminal battery investigation the following day.

Speaking out after, 50’s lawyer, Scott Leemon shared a statement with Page Six and said, “Let’s be very clear. As I told LAPD this afternoon, my client Curtis Jackson would never intentionally strike anyone with a microphone. Anyone saying something different doesn’t have all the facts and is misinformed.”

Days after 50 Cent’s incident, Lil Wayne was seen having, what’s been described by Radar Online as “embarrassing,” microphone issues while opening for Beyoncé’s ‘Renaissance‘ World Tour stop in LA. It’s reported that days after Wayne stormed off the stage at 50’s show, after reportedly being shoved by someone in his camp, Wayne suffered his own mic issues opening for Beyoncé.

As DJ Khaled brought out the “A Milli” rapper, some time during his set his microphone began to cut in and out, leaving him awkwardly standing around in front of the crowd with the music and background vocals still playing on the speakers.

As the sound engineers tried to fix the issues, Lil Wayne ended up telling them that the sound was “still bad,” so the show was temporarily delayed. After giving up with trying to fix the faulty microphones, he eventually told the crowd, “Thank you anyway.”

Reacting to the headlines on Instagram, 50 Cent reposted screenshots of them and said, “Damn. Only thing left is Taylor Swift’s show. I fired everyone involved in the audio department. If the mic don’t work, your a** don’t work here.”
