50 Cent Blasts Kanye West For Distracting People With His Presidential Bid
While speaking with Billboard, 50 Cent shared some words about Kanye West, particularly, blasting him for distracting people with his recent presidential bid.
The Queens rapper mocks the Chicago rapper, stating, “I’m going to contemplate running myself. I’m going to run to create a diversion for someone else.” He continues, explaining, “The new thing is to run to create a diversion and distract people. Would you run against someone who just gave you $2 million?” This mention is in regards to West’s YEEZY company receiving more than $2 million via Trump’s Paycheck Protection Program, which reportedly saved over 100 jobs.

Speaking on President Barack Obama‘s reaction to Kanye interrupting Taylor Swift at the 2009 VMAs, 50 continues, “Remember the last president called you a jackass. Maybe that’s why you embrace this one.” 50 also criticizes Kanye, who recently withdrew his support from Donald Trump. He says Kanye had no other choice but to back down due to the current racial “climate,” questioning, “How would you keep it without creating a storm of s**t for yourself?”
