12-Year-Old Graduates From High School — Set To Attend Arizona State University!

According to ABC7, Alena, who is from Arizona, completed high school this year through at-home schooling. Now, the superstar is off to Arizona State University!
Alena is set to attend Arizona State University with plans to become a NASA scientist after graduation. As the news site notes, the 12-year-old will be double majoring in astronomical and planetary science and chemistry. If all goes well, Alena will be done with college at just 16-years-old: “Her goal is to, by the age of 16, be working for NASA,” Daphne Mcquarter, Alena’s mom said.
While speaking with the outlet, Alena said,
“I’m just planning it all as I go,” she said. “It doesn’t matter what your age or what you’re planning to do. Go for it, dream, then accomplish it.”
