Yung Miami Says She Doesn’t See Mental Illness Being A Factor In Carlee Russell’s Case: ‘Some People Will Do Anything For Attention’

After Wednesday’s press conference surrounding the new details about Carlee Russell’s case a lot of celebrities are weighing in on the situation. As we previously reported, cops revealed Russell’s internet searches prior to her disappearance that has people raising their eyebrows about the alleged incident.

Carlee Russell reportedly searched for information about Amber Alerts, bus stations and taking money from a cash register before she went missing. The U.S. Secret Service found these searches on her phone, which was left in her car after she went missing Thursday night after reporting a toddler walking along I-459.

Following the shocking details that were released to the public a lot of people have weighed in on the trending topic. Yung Miami, even took the time to speak on Russell’s case and made a tweet where she said she doesn’t believe mental illness was a factor in this case. “THANK YOU cthagod everything is NOT MENTAL ILLNESS!! Some people will do anything for attention! I don’t see mental illness at all in this Carlee case!” Before making that tweet this morning she also shared another message about the case saying, “Carlee dead a** wrong! Ion get it like it’s already hard for black ppl and sh*t like this just make it harder smh I’m disappointed.”

Cops also revealed the details that Russell told detectives on the night she went missing. According to the press conference she told authorities that she was kidnapped by a guy with orange hair and he had bald spot on the back of his head and stated the man was with a female but she never saw the female, only hearing her voice. She says that she was put into a 18 wheeler but she was able to escape and run away, but she was captured again and the kidnappers reportedly blind folded her but did not, tie her up because they didn’t want to leave marks on her arms.

She then goes on to explain that she was dragged into a house where they made her get undressed and she believes they took pictures of her. And she says the next morning she woke up she was fed cheese crackers by the woman and she was also playing with her hair. 

Overall, towards the end of the conference the cop announced that “we have no reason to believe that there is a threat to the public safety related to this case.”
