Yung Miami Explains Why She Name-Dropped A Bunch Of Rappers In New Song ‘Rap Freaks’: ‘It’s Nothing Personal, I’m Just Having Fun’

Yung Miami wants y’all to calm down!

While speaking exclusively with @billboard, the City Girls rapper decided to set the record straight after causing a frenzy on social media with her hot new single “Rap Freaks.”

In her new song, the female MC name drops a whole bunch of rappers including Lil Baby, Da Baby, Money Bagg Yo, 50 Cent, Future and more while detailing sexual propositions to some of them. Some fans thought she went a little too far because a few of the rappers are in relationships. However, Yung Miami wants to let fans know that her lyrics shouldn’t be taken seriously. She simply told the outlet: “The song is showing love to all the rappers right now, it’s nothing personal,” she told Billboard. “I [named] a bunch of the guys who are on top, that’s hot, that’s poppin’. Nothing is personal, nothing is literal, I’m just having fun.”

When asked if she would do any of the drunk things she mentioned in her song; with the rappers including Jayda Cheaves’ ex who felt some type of way about it, she clarified with a flat-out “no.”
