Yung Miami is convinced she and her beau Diddy will get married. The pair first sparked dating claims back in June 2021, but neither made it official until June of this year when the Bad Boy Records founder appeared on Miami’s “Caresha Please” show on REVOLT, confirming that they are in fact a couple. And while many have weighed in with their thoughts about the romance, with some going as far as to say the relationship won’t last, the “Where The Bag At” rapper strongly disagrees.
“People don’t know us,” Miami told POPSUGAR while discussing her love life with Diddy as she and JT grace the magazine’s September digital cover story. “They don’t know what the f**k we got goin’ on. I’m in there like, ‘Shut the f**k up. Y’all don’t know what we have going on. Me and him gon’ be married — boom!’” For the most part, Miami and Diddy have managed to keep their relationship under the radar by refraining from posting one another on social media, which appears to indicate that the pair are looking for longevity rather than clout.
“People don’t know us. They don’t know what the f*ck we got goin’ on. I’m in there like, ‘Shut the f*ck up. Y’all don’t know what we have going on. Me and [@Diddy] gon’ be married — boom!’ No, I’m just saying,” @YungMiami305 says, laughing. (7/10) https://t.co/g28pJkBwlW

Further on in the interview, Miami also touched on her alter ego, which usually comes out when she’s getting ready to hit the stage, sharing, “I’m always gon’ be Caresha, I’m always myself. But you know, my [stage] name is like my alter ego, and I feel like when it’s time to perform, or it’s time to do an interview, or when it’s time to give people what they want, I bring out Yung Miami.”
JT, too, had some things she wanted to address, such as being a role model for dark-skinned women who may not always feel beautiful or confident in their own skin. Seeing the success that the City Girls have had since their rise to fame with the release of their debut album, “Girl Code,” the Miami native hopes to show Black women, in particular, that anything is possible — and race should never play a part in one’s accomplishments.

“I feel like I have to represent that, the struggle,” she declared. “And my brown-skin girls, when you not feeling that powerful, not feeling that confident, you are beautiful.” JT said that during times where she didn’t feel strong or empowered, her boyfriend, Lil Uzi Vert, helped list her spirit up in the past year, which she says has “made me a much better person.”
“I feel like I found my home with him, my safe space. Once you find your safe space, you know.”
The duo are said to be working on their third studio album, though a release date has yet to be announced.
