Yung Joc wants people to stop playing with him and put some respect on his name! The “Love & Hip-Hop” star recently caught wind of a video that has been making its rounds online and he’s not happy about it. The clip in question shows a host from @856_ent asking random people if they would rather get a $50 Amazon gift card or accept 30 minutes with the entertainer.

One woman says, “Mhmm… not no Yung Joc.” Nearly 5 other women said they’d take the $50 Amazon gift card instead. Another explained, “I don’t want Yung Joc. That n*gga be wearing the swoops and the corny a** hairstyles. I’m alright.”

Now, Joc doesn’t really bother anyone especially not on the internet so he seems a bit shocked and annoyed that folks are out here bothering him and his peace! The rapper dropped a comment under the video and had this to say: “Y’all would have no choice ’cause I wouldn’t f*ck with not one of them in the first place… 1. I’m happily married 2. That sh*t 🧢 – 3. He never said have sex with me he just said 30 min with me and y’all would get at least $300 worth of food and shots if I did allow y’all in my immediate vicinity😂😂😂 4. I ain’t never had a problem getting no woman lol 5. I would give y’all $100 Amazon gift card to stay the fvxk over there.”

Now, Yung Joc isn’t the only one who had this happen to him. Back in March fellow rapper Soulja Boy went on an angry rant after after people chose $250 in food stamps instead of dinner with him.

“Y’all n***as are gon’ die broke, broke-ass n***a. F**k-ass n***a,” he said at the time during an Instagram Live. “Y’all some broke-ass n***as. Y’all couldn’t go out to dinner with me if y’all wanted to,” he added.

So Where Did This Trend Come From?

It all came from a viral social media discussion in 2021 when people were asked to choose between “$500,000 or dinner with Jay-Z?” Of course, it sparked a massive debate on Twitter between people who believed taking the money was a better investment and others who thought dinner with Hov was a better option.

Hilariously, Jay-Z may seemed to have chimed in on the debate when Tidal, a streaming company he’s part owner of tweeted: “Take the $500K.”
