YouTube Star “Talking Kitty Cat” Steve Cash Commits Suicide

YouTube star Steve Cash, known for his “Talking Kitty Cat” videos, has committed suicide at the age of 40.

According to TMZ, Steve Cash died early Thursday morning and his cause of death was confirmed as a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. His wife, Celia DeCosta Cash, released a statement on her Facebook page to share the tragic news with fans and loved ones:

 “I just lost my best friend, my sidekick, my lover, my mentor, my absolute everything. It hurts me to share this. Please understand, give the family time to grieve, but know that Steve is no longer in pain.”

Nash gained millions of fans through his popular “Talking Kitty Cat” series and opened up about his mental health via social media. Currently, his YouTube page has 2.43 million subscribers.

Over the course of his career, Cash has earned more than 770 million views on his videos. His most popular video to date is “Bad! Bad! Bad! Bad!” and his channel was last updated on December 30.
