Young Thug: Man Arrested & Charged For Murder Of His Child’s Mother LaKevia Jackson
Almost two weeks ago, we learned that the LaKevia Jackson, who shares a 14-year-old child with rapper Young Thug, was murdered by a man at a bowling alley — reportedly over an argument. It’s now been confirmed that the suspect, identified as 25-year-old Joshua Fleetwood, has been arrested and charged for Jackson’s murder.
It was reported that on March 17, Jackson was at Metro Fun Center celebrating her birthday with a a close family friend. Fleetwood was on a date playing next to her when an argument began over a bowling ball. The altercation continued into the parking lot, when at some point, a shootout broke out and bullets from an escaping car hit Jackson.

On Thursday (Mar. 31), the Atlanta Police Department’s fugitive team, along with U.S. Marshals, arrested Fleetwood for felony murder and booked him into Fulton County Jail. Three days after the shooting, APD obtained warrants for Fleetwood, who’s had 16 cycles through the criminal justice system. Previously, he’s been convicted of narcotics-related crimes, fraud, criminal trespassing and eluding police.
