The Fulton County district attorney has recently spoken out saying, ‘gang sympathizers’ are threatening the life of a witness and their family members in the criminal case against Young Thug. The DA, Fani Willis announced that a leaked document included the identity of one YSL associate, who is working with authorities in the case.

“We’re going to have to do things to make sure that the witnesses are safe. We need people to understand that they can cooperate. They can do the right thing and the state will be here to protect them,” Willis said.
Young Thug’s lawyer, Brian Steel also believes that the leaks need to stop because the case should not be tried on social media. “Whomever is placing items of discovery online is not doing anybody a favor. It is totally inappropriate to try this case in social media. This case will be tried fairly and justly in Fulton County Superior Court,” Steel said. “Mr. Williams has committed no crime whatsoever. I look forward to the commencement of the jury trial.”
As we previously reported, On Monday night (May 9), journalist Michael Seiden of local Atlanta news station WSBTV reported that he and his artist Gunna and 26 other members of YSL have been accused of RICO charges.
According to Seiden, “The indictment includes charges of conspiring to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act, murder, armed robbery, participation in criminal street gang activity.”
Rumors were already surfacing the internet about who the person was that was working with the police but after the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office announced that a new indictment and new charges were being put on Young Thug and released the indictment, one of his crew members names were listed.
