Young Thug is finally confirming what we all suspected: he and Mariah The Scientist are officially over.
The controversial rapper has been appearing on podcasts and shows to clear the air on a number of things after his jailhouse calls got leaked. Not only did he speak negatively about other rappers, but he was also caught speaking with another woman while he was dating the singer.
Despite his apologies, it looks like Mariah The Scientist had enough of the public embarrassment and officially called it quits. Young Thug confirmed this while recently appearing on Adin Ross’ stream.

Young Thug and Mariah The Scientist started dating around October 2021. Mariah has been a frequent fixture at the courthouse during Thug’s lengthy RICO trial. While the YSL rapper has professed his love for her while behind bars, jailhouse calls also exposed the betrayal.
In one of the leaked calls, Thugger admitted to cheating on Mariah right before his RICO arrest in 2022. He apologized earlier this month after the audio hit the internet.
“My baby I was wrong and I’m sorry for what I put u through,” Young Thug penned to his now-ex-girlfriend. “U deserved better from me. Thank you for everything and I will do anything to make this work. U showed me what love is and I hope I haven’t lost u forever… everybody leave her out of this please she’s an innocent girl and feels bad about all of this. Please give her peace.”
What Has Mariah Said So Far?
Mariah has not publicly released a statement on the status of their relationship. However, she was seen during NYFW with a Young Thug phone case, seemingly holding on to the little she has left of him.
While it’s clear Young Thug wants things to work, the “Spread Thin” artist looks like she’s done — and possibly for good.
