The body of Yohanes Kidane, a 22-year-old Netflix software engineer, was found floating in the San Francisco Bay, it has been confirmed. According to the Marin County Sheriff’s Office, Kidane’s body was seen floating by a passing boat northeast of the Golden Gate Bridge, and a Coast Guard was immediately alerted Tuesday morning.
The sheriff said that his death had been determined as a suicide, adding that Kidane’s body had shown signs of advanced decomposition when it was pulled from the water. “The remains exhibited signs of advanced decomposition, prolonged exposure to the aquatic environment and appreciable depredation,” the sheriff’s office said.
