#Socialites, get a load of this: After Savannah Guthrie’s $1 million reward announcement, the phones at the Federal Bureau of Investigation have been ringing off the hook.
According to NBC News, 750 new tips came in about the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie. The surge happened right after Savannah made it crystal clear that her family is willing to put serious money on the table to bring her mother home.

Former FBI supervisor Jason Pack broke it down on Today while speaking to correspondent Liz Kreutz, saying “the family’s reward suggests a strategic pivot,” especially since it’s now been over three weeks since 84-year-old Nancy vanished without a trace.
A Daughter Still Holding On
Earlier this week, Savannah Guthrie got real with the public. The co-anchor shared a heartfelt Instagram video just before 9 a.m. Tuesday, announcing that her family is now offering up to $1 million for the safe recovery of her mom.
And baby, the emotion in her words? You could feel it through the screen.
“Someone knows how to find our mom and bring her home,” Savannah Guthrie wrote in a caption accompanying a video published on Instagram just before 9 a.m. Tuesday. She added, “Please keep praying without ceasing,” she said. “We still believe. We still believe in a miracle. We still believe that she can come home, hope against hope, as my sister says. We are blowing on the embers of hope.”
Then came the part that really hit:
“We also know that she may be lost,” she added. “She may already be gone.”
What Happened to Nancy?
As we previously reported, Nancy Guthrie was reported missing around noon on February 1 after she didn’t show up for virtual church at a friend’s house. The last confirmed sighting of her was the night before, about 9:45 p.m., after having dinner at her daughter Annie’s home.
Early in the investigation, the Pima County Sheriff’s Office said authorities believed she may have been taken from her home against her will, possibly during the night — raising the terrifying possibility of kidnapping or abduction.
Not long after, the FBI released doorbell camera footage showing an armed, masked man outside Nancy’s home the morning she disappeared. Later, law enforcement sources suggested at least one of those images may have been taken earlier than initially believed.
No suspect has been publicly named. And Sheriff Chris Nanos made it clear that every member of the Guthrie family has been cleared, saying that to “suggest otherwise is not only wrong, it is cruel.”
