Drake celebrated his 35th birthday last week and decided to go all out for himself. The rap star copped a new watch that even the richest man in the world, Elon Musk can’t buy, according to TMZ.
The news site reports that the Toronto rapper threw down $5,500,000 for an ultra-rare, 1-of-1 Richard Mille. Sources told TMZ that Drizzy went to NYC diamond district kings Pristine Jewelers to secure the piece. It’s encased in sapphire crystal, and employs the incredibly complex tourbillon movement. It was noted that this big gift to himself isn’t just another lavish item, it’s a big-time investment. When the watch was originally released in 2019, it was worth $2.8 million. Now, just 2 years later, it’s nearly doubled in value.
