Kimberly McCormick says she went to the same clinic six years ago for weight loss surgery, and everything went fine; however, when she went back in October to get a breast lift and remove the loose skin on her arms, stomach, thighs, and legs. When she woke up, Kimberly told FOX 13 that she felt soreness in her chest and realized the clinic gave her implants despite asking for a different medical procedure.

The medical coordinator told Kimberly that she requested breast implants, and the surgeon who performed the procedure gave her a BBL instead of removing the loose skin under her arms and thighs she requested. Kimberly’s daughter, Misty Ann McCormick, added that she wanted to speak to an administrator after her mother was placed in a dirty room and developed a severe infection. Still, armed security guards pushed her out after she was shouting for answers in the hallway of the facility.
“Inside I’m thinking, my mom’s up there, and I can’t leave her. I get to the door, and he pushes me hard, and there is this cement ramp and I just go flying,” Misty Ann explained.

They said that the clinic forced them to pay $2,500 more than the pre-paid price since staff claimed it was a longer stay for recovery. McCormick said the staff also threatened to have them arrested and jailed if they didn’t pay the price plus forced McCormick to sign a form that suggested she wanted the unauthorized surgery. Shortly after leaving the hospital, the mother and daughter went to a van that transported them to San Diego and Kimberly went to the ER to receive treatment after checking into a hotel.

“I think I’m lucky that I’m here. I’m lucky the damage isn’t any worse. However, I’m looking at another surgery because the implants they put in are so big. I don’t have enough skin to enclose them. They are not healing.”

McCormick is advising the public to do research before traveling to another country to get cosmetic surgery and don’t take any offer that sounds too good to be true. Misty Ann has also contacted the FBI to investigate the case.
