In a developing case involving the home of Rihanna, Ivanna Lisette Ortiz appeared in court Wednesday and pleaded not guilty to multiple charges.

Ortiz, a Florida woman charged with attempted murder, is accused of firing multiple rounds into Rihanna’s Los Angeles residence. According to reports, she entered a not guilty plea during the court appearance. Her attorney, a public defender, also requested a reduction in her bond. However, the court denied that request.

Her bail remains set at $1,875,000, according to KABC-TV. During the hearing, Ortiz was seen behind glass in a custody area. She spoke briefly and agreed to waive her right to a speedy preliminary hearing, as reported by the Associated Press. Additionally, this court appearance follows a previous hearing on March 11. During that earlier appearance, Ortiz’s lawyer initially entered a not guilty plea on her behalf but later withdrew it.

Details Surrounding The Alleged Shooting At Rihanna’s Home

Authorities allege that the incident took place on March 8 at Rihanna’s Los Angeles property. At the time of the shooting, Rihanna was reportedly inside the home.
A$AP Rocky and their children were also present during the incident. Reports indicate that multiple rounds were fired from what authorities described as an AR-15-style rifle.

Following the shooting, law enforcement officers located Ortiz driving a white Tesla Model 3. Police tracked the vehicle to a shopping center parking lot, where she was taken into custody without further incident.

Investigators have not publicly disclosed additional details regarding the motive. However, the presence of multiple individuals inside the home at the time has been noted in reports about the case.
