The female suspect identified as 38-year-old Johanna Gardell stole a commercial truck in Worchester, causing police to chase her for several blocks. During the chase, she hit and dragged an officer along with crashing into several police vehicles. “At this point, two officers working detail and another officer in the area approached the vehicle in an attempt to extract Ms. Gardell. She backed up the vehicle at a high rate of speed and struck a cruiser behind her, and knocked down and dragged one of the detail officers,” said Worchester police in a press release.

According to the New York Post, Gardell ordered chicken nuggets at the drive-thru and police showed up at the scene after telling the restaurant employees to slow down the line. They pulled Gardell out of the vehicle although she tried to attack them in the process.
