Woman Caught Wearing Sex Toy Containing Boyfriend’s Ashes During Airport Security Check In

An Australian woman trying to enter the United Arab Emirates airport was stopped by security after her sex toy set off several alarms during check-in.

Sarah Button,23, was set to board her flight when her butt plug set off security alarms, and she documented the entire experience in a TikTok video. Button said the sex toy was a gag gift from her boyfriend before he passed away because “he’d spent so much time in there, and it was his favorite place.” However, airport security assumed Button was carrying a weapon, and she said male officials didn’t like her vulgar language.

“I explained what it was but a lady was working in earshot of that conversation which led to some back and forth between us and the male officials did not like the vulgarity I was using to explain,”

The video was uploaded on TikTok in September, but it went viral online, gaining over a million views. Button said she wanted to start traveling to the place she and her boyfriend wanted to go to honor his memory.

‘An hour later a big official came and had us sign a super long foreign document and said if we went outside of the airport doors we’d go to jail. It was a long day. Moral of the story is I was very ignorant of what I had in my bag and the words I used/their values and I didn’t realise explaining a plug would like violate the person that asked about it.’

 

 

Social media users found the sex toy gesture romantic and said, “love isn’t dead.”

Despite the context behind the butt plug gift, TikTok users commented on Button’s video and said love wasn’t dead since she carried the toy whenever she traveled.

‘Whoever’s ashes is being remembered in a most magnificent way by you,” one user said.
