Woman Puts Baby Up For Adoption After Sperm Donor Lied About His Ethnicity
A sperm donor’s lies have led to a mother putting her child up for adoption.
A Japanese woman is currently suing the biological father of her second child for $2.86 million after realizing that he’d lied about his identity.
The Tokyo citizen, who is in her 30s, assumed she’d found a wealthy Japanese man with a Kyoto University degree, and had sex with him 10 times in an action to get pregnant, according to Japanese media.
The woman recently had one kid with her current husband but agreed to have sex with a donor when she discovered her husband transmitted a hereditary disorder that could be given to his offspring. She relied on the help of social media to find the perfect prospect.
Their endeavors paid off in July 2019. But, quickly after becoming pregnant by the donor, the woman, who continues to be unidentified in local reports, got information that the biological father of her unborn child is, in fact, a married Chinese man who did not accompany the prestigious research university.

Once learning that information the woman decided to put her baby up for adoption as it was already too late to abort the pregnancy. She’s presently suing for fraud, citing “emotional distress” resulted in by his lies.
“In Japan, there is no public system or legal system for sperm donation,” the woman’s lawyer said during a press conference on Tuesday.
