The anonymous woman says she purchased the ticket at an Arco AM/PM store in Los Angeles and left the ticket in her pants. A convenience store worker confirmed the woman’s story after surveillance footage showed she purchased the ticket and the clip was submitted to California Lottery officials.
However, the submission for the winning ticket was due on Thursday, and officials said winners have to submit a claim form along with evidence to prove that they had the ticket.

According to Metro UK, if the money is not claimed, the $19.6 million will be donated to public schools in the state. Officials also say that it is common for jackpot prizes to remain unclaimed.
