Woman Killed Inside Capitol Uploaded Enthusiastic Video Marching The Streets Before Fatal Shooting

Ashli Babbitt, the woman killed inside the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday (Jan. 6), uploaded an enthusiastic video to her Facebook while marching the streets before her fatal shooting.

In her video, which appears to be a part of a Facebook live, shows Babbitt proudly marching the streets of Washington, D.C., heading to the Capitol. She says, “We are walking to the Capitol in a mob. There’s an estimated over 3 million people here today. Despite what the media tells you, boots on the ground definitely say something different. There is a sea of nothing but red, white and blue patriots. And Trump..it was amazing to get to see the President talk. God bless America, Patriots.”

As we reported, Babbitt was a part of the hundreds of rioters who stormed and sieged the Capitol on Wednesday. After failing to obey orders inside, Babbitt was shot and eventually died from her injuries. Her husband later identified her to San Diego news outlet KUSI, noting she was a 14-year Air Force veteran and had served four tours with the agency. Her husband added that she was “a strong supporter of President Donald Trump and a great patriot to all who knew her.”
