A video is currently making its rounds on social media after a woman is seen slapping her boyfriend after proposing to her with a ring pop during the Toronto Blue Jays and the Boston Red Sox baseball game.

According to the NY Post the video has gained over 200,000 views in under 48 hours. In the video you can hear the boyfriend saying “I love you” as he starts to get down on one knee and the woman looked like she was in total shock thinking her man was about to pop the big question.

Spectators around the couple immediately thought a proposal was about to go down and quickly pulled out their camera phones to capture the moment, but suddenly the man whipped out a ring pop and the woman slapped him and said, “what the f*ck is wrong with you” then proceeds to throw her drink at him.

To make matter even worst, the official camera crew at the baseball game assumed a proposal was about to happen and put the couple on the big screen, so the prank that went left was broadcasted to thousands of fans.

The social media detectives slowed the video down and took a deeper look into the video and now some social media users believe that the guy was going to do a real proposal because their was a smaller box hidden inside of the original box.

“The guy pulled a jerk move. If he cannot be serious for something important imagine what type of clown he is day to day,” said one commenter.

Users were also quick to come to the man’s defense, saying, “You’re crazy if you think the guy is at blame” and “I get that she didn’t like this, but it’s no reason to slap him across the face. Especially in front of thousands.”

Were not completely sure if the couple was acting or not, but the viral video has fans in a major debate! #Socialites how would you react if your man did this to you?
