The clip was originally uploaded by Facebook user Ashlynn Curtis where the unidentified woman and her son entered the alligator pit at Safari North Wildlife Park in Brainerd, Minnesota. In the caption, Curtis said she “went to the zoo today and a woman dropped her wallet in the alligator enclosure. So she went INSIDE the enclosure to get it as well as her child. Meanwhile, shes screaming at him that it’s [his] fault. This was honestly the craziest thing I have ever seen.”

After the wallet fell into the small body of water and her son climbed into the pit to get it back. Although the boy was unable to grab it, his mother managed to distract the alligators in order to get it again. She successfully retrieves the wallet and exits out of the pit with her son. While they were climbing out of the exhibit, she yells at him and says it was his fault for going there in the first place.
