An Idaho woman was arrested Tuesday afternoon after she and a group of people went to a closed playground then refused to leave when they were approached by police officers.

KTVB 7 reports 40-year-old Sara Brady’s arrest became viral after she along with a group of adults and children were surrounding Kleiner Park in Meridian around 5 p.m. The park has been closed for a month by city officials due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

The video shows a group of Meridian police officers asking Brady and the group to leave repeatedly but they refused. She asked one of the officers why they couldn’t be at the playground and he explains the city’s order to close the playground. He says to her “Ma’am, I’ve told you to exit numerous times, this is it. Exit the playground area now. I’m really trying to be nice about this.” However, Brady tells him to arrest her since she was being “difficult.”

During her arrest, Brady tells someone to call the Idaho Freedom Foundation. An arrest report says she was noncompliant and forced the officers to make the arrest. Shortly after, 100 people protested in front of Meridian City Hall calling for justice.

Brady was booked at the Ada County Jail but was later released on bail. Her arrest has gained over 15,000 and 13,000 shares on Facebook but the video was taken down since the arrest.
