Woman Arrested After Threatening Burger King Employee With A Gun For Messing Up Her Drink Order

A South Carolina woman was arrested after she allegedly pulled a gun out and threatened a Burger King employee for getting her order wrong.

46-year-old Sonya Stinson was arrested earlier this week after she threatened the employee at a Burger King drive-thru in the Fort Mill section of Charlotte, North Carolina. According to an arrest report, Stinson pull up to the drive-thru and requested a drink order on Monday. Moments later, Stinson pulled out her gun and told the female employee that she was “going to blow her head off.”

“Burger King employee stated the customer got upset about a mix up between coffee and orange juice and made the threat several times and then exited the vehicle in an attempt to come after the employee,” Deputies of the York County Sheriff’s Department wrote in the report.

Stinson was arrested on Wednesday and charged with first-degree assault and battery along with presenting a firearm at a person. Authorities also reported that no shots were fired during the incident and Stinson is still currently being held without bond.
