Woman Alleging Affair with Justin Bieber’s Ex Pastor Carl Lentz, Says ‘I Feel Bad’ For His Wife
The woman who claims she had an affair with Justin Bieber’s ex-pastor Carl Lentz is speaking out.

While appearing on “Good Morning America” for her first television interview since making headlines, Ranin Karim opened up about how she claims the two met and how she found out who he really was and what happened when his wife Laura found out about the alleged affair. Karim also shared her months-long romance with Lentz ended in October and was “devastated” but her intention was never to hurt Lentz’s wife.
“I feel bad for her,” said Karim, 34. “Woman to woman, I don’t think she deserved to be hurt the way that she did. I never meant to hurt her.” Karim says she even tried to end their affair several times before the wife found out. She recalled the moment when things went left: “He called me at midnight and he said, ‘My wife found out.’ And, ‘I gotta go, I gotta go,’” she said. “I was devastated.” As we previously reported Lentz publicly admitted to being unfaithful to Laura in a statement on Instagram that came just one day after his firing from Hillsong. That was announced on Nov. 4. by founder and senior pastor, Brian Houston.
A friend of the couple tells PEOPLE Magazine that Lentz and Laura are currently working hard to repair their relationship and that the former pastor and one-time mentor to Justin Bieber have been prioritizing family time with his wife and their three children.
