54-year-old Alvis Parrish was arrested last week after claiming her boyfriend of nine years wouldn’t shut up and told officers from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office that they needed to arrest her. “Yeah, I did it…. because he wouldn’t shut the f*** up. I gave him just enough to shut him up and called y’all, so he wouldn’t die…do whatever you want, but if you don’t take me, I will kill him,” she explained.
According to a police report, Parrish gave the victim a bottle of lemonade that contained a powdery substance made from quetiapine tablets.

The victim initially denied medical treatment but was later transported to a local hospital after experiencing dizziness and drowsiness.
“Not sure why she would give me that, I don’t take Seroquel.”
As reported by WBTV, other symptoms include fainting and a rapid heartbeat. Quetiapine tablets are often used to treat schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Parrish was charged with poisoning food with the intent to harm or kill a person. Her court date is scheduled for Dec. 29.
