A Massachusetts woman revealed that she accidentally swallowed her AirPod after mistaking it for an ibuprofen pill.

Carli Bellmer of Boston revealed on multiple TikTok videos how she accidentally swallowed her left AirPod before going to bed. “So like, I ate my f- -king left AirPod. I was crawling into bed and I had an ibuprofen 800 in one hand and my f–king AirPod — my left earbud — in the other.” Bellmer added that she washed the headphone down with water and realized what she had done as reported by the New York Post. “I then realized that it wasn’t the ibuprofen. I tired puking it and it won’t come out, and I’m f–king losing my mind.” she said.

Despite viewers being skeptical about her entire situation and also showing concern, Bellmer revealed in an updated video that she actually passed the AirPod out of her body after seeing a doctor for an X-ray.
“An x-ray showed that I passed it. I had a feeling that I passed it. I did not retrieve it, but I know that it’s passed. I know that it was in my stomach and no longer is.”
