Will Smith Says He Failed Every Woman He Interacted With
Will Smith has been going through a lot lately.
While speaking to Oprah Winfrey for Apple TV+’s The Oprah Conversation: Will Smith, Smith admits to feeling like he has failed every woman he has met, “I’ve carried most of my life the sense of failing every woman I interact with.”
“I want to tell the truth. I want to let people have it.”
“I’m laying on the floor in a jail cell and I’m like, ‘What is happening?'” he adds, “I haven’t talked about that publicly.”
The interview supports his new memoir, Will, which comes out on Nov. 9.
In the memoir obtained by People, Smith admits to falling in love with his co-star Stockard Channing from “Six Degrees of Separation” while he was still married to his first wife Sheree Zampino. He later went on to marry Jada Pinkett.
“Sheree and I were in the first few months of our marriage with a brand-new baby and for Sheree, I can imagine that this experience was unsettling to say the least,” he wrote. “She’d married a guy named Will Smith, and now she was living with a guy named Paul Poitier.”
“To make matters worse, during shooting I fell in love with Stockard Channing.”
