According to People, a source claims that the couple’s problems were made worse by their fame, and that Will felt “more of the pressure” to make their marriage work.
“They’re two different people trying to make it, and on top of it there’s this huge spotlight on them,” says the source. “People are always going to grow and change, but most don’t have the world watching their every move while they do that.”
Despite their entanglements, Jada’s close friend reveals that she has always loved Will.
“She would be the first person to admit marriage is hard work, but she will always love Will,” said the friend per People. “Even when they haven’t been together, Jada always spoke of her marriage as something special.”
As we reported, Jada finally brought herself to the Red Table, shockingly with husband Will Smith, to set the record straight following Alsina’s first interview which sparked major controversy. The 28-year-old spoke with “The Breakfast Club’s” Angela Yee and said Will gave him his “blessing” to have a relationship with Jada. Reps for both actors later denied Alsina’s claims, causing confusion.
However, on Friday’s episode of “Red Table Talk,” Jada explained that she and Will “were going through a very difficult time” and had broken up when she started a romantic relationship with Alsina. At the time, Jada thought their breakup was so bad that they “never ever thought that we would make it back.”
Despite the entanglement they are in this for life as “life partners.”
