When it comes to comedic TV shows people always question who had the funnier show between Martin and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and during the interview, Will Smith admitted that Martin Lawrence was funnier than him on the television screen.

“Martin was hands down funnier than me,” Smith said. I used to study this dude and had pure jealousy at the level of comedic genius that he could portray. I’m an actor that needs a script, Martin you can just roll and say go. It’s a level of comedic genius that is stunning to me.”
