According to the Daily Mail, the woman was captured in a photograph posted by Royal Parks Police as the animal approached her and attacked the young woman. She is seen wearing a baby blue dress with a floral headband. Authorities reported the incident took place on October 11 and condemned the woman’s actions on Twitter.

The now-deleted tweet reads, ‘This picture, taken on October 11 in Richmond Park, demonstrates why you need to stay 50m away. They are wild animals and can cause you injury #WeAreNotBambi.’

Visitors at the park are often warned to stay away from the deer as they are territorial and can attack at any moment. Local residents also noted that the park should be closed during the mating season so the deers could be left alone. The season is also called a “rut” since male deers compete with each other by roaring at each other along with locking horns as a form of combat.

The woman was also criticized for her lack of fall attire since the weather in London is cloudy and cold.
