Whoopi Goldberg is addressing her sexuality while being a guest on Raven Symone’s podcast, “The Best Podcast Ever With Raven And Miranda.”
During the conversation, Raven said she wanted to “dig” into Whoopi’s business then said, “sometimes you give lesbian vibes you give me like stud vibes.” While responding back to Raven’s comments the ‘Sister Act’ actress shared, “women have been asking me this for as long as I could imagine, its like why do you care who I love. But I am not a lesbian, but I know lots of them and I played them on television.”
She continued, “I have always had lesbian friends and they’re just my friends and it’s like I’m not going to kiss you but i’ll kiss you over here ill do this but I’m not going to do this and they’re like ok.”
As we all know Whoopi has had her fair share when it comes to relationships. Alvin Martin, who was Whoopi Goldberg’s first husband tied the knot back in the day. They were married from 1973 to 1979 and have a daughter together named Alexandrea Martin, who is also known as Alex Martin. Whoopi Goldberg’s second husband was David Claessen. They were married from 1986 to 1988. Whoopi Goldberg’s third husband was Lyle Trachtenberg. They were married from 1994 to 1995.
Raven’s podcast has been making a lot of noise lately after she became candid with her fans on there. In more recent news, she opened up about some plastic surgery procedures she underwent, all before turning 18! The ‘That’s So Raven‘ star revealed she got liposuction and a couple breast reductions when she was still a minor, and that after her first reduction she had a seizure!
Maday, who already knew her wife’s secret, pretended to act surprised about her being a minor during the procedures. Symoné confirmed she indeed went under the knife before turning 18. She noted,, “There was paperwork involved. My dad suggested, strongly, that I should get my breasts reduced. He was like, ‘So you don’t feel bad, is there anything you want?’ I was like, ‘Yeah, if I get lipo, will people stop calling me fat?’ So, I got a twofer. It was just a mess, just being that young and the pain of it all.”
Symoné went on to reveal that the recovery was really painful and she just “disassociated.” Recalling how things went after her first breast reduction, she explained, “The recovery was a little painful. I have scars. I still have scar tissue ’til this day. I actually gained weight after, and I had to go back [to get] a little bit more out, because they were still too big … for others’ feelings. And that was [the second procedure].”
