White House Forces Two Top Homeland Security Officials To Resign

More craziness is going down behind the doors of the White House since Donald Trump‘s electoral vote loss; this as two top Homeland Security officials have been forced to resign.

Sources familiar with the resignations tell CNN that two senior Department of Homeland Security officials have resigned, involuntarily allegedly. Among the officials in the DHS’ cyber arm is Bryan Ware, who seved as served as assistant director for cybersecurity at DHS’ Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA).

Additionally, Valerie Boyd,  who served as a DHS assistant secretary for international affairs, also resigned amid pressure from the WH. Since news broke, DHS, CISA and WH officials have declined to comment. However, Ware’s resignation letter, observed by CNN, addresses President Trump with an effective last day as Friday (Nov. 13). In Ware’s farewell, he writes that he didn’t want to step down as “it’s too soon,” and he is leaving “with much sadness.”
