White House Denies Rumors Of National Curfew Amidst Coronavirus
The world is beginning to panic amidst the Coronavirus crisis, with rumors of martial law and curfews being put in place to prevent the spread of the disease. However, the White House on Monday denied that it’s considering a national curfew.

“That’s not even in the realm of things we’re asking governors for,” said Katie Miller, a spokeswoman for Vice President Mike Pence. “There are a lot of rumors. I promise you, I’m sitting in every single meeting… so I can give you guys a yes or no.”
“There are active discussions within the Trump administration to encourage a possible ‘curfew’ across the nation in which non-essential businesses would have to close by a certain time each night.” Tweeted Jim Scuitto from CNN.
Communities have been in panic after witnessing countries like Italy go into a quarantine. People all over the U.S have been panic buying groceries, despite the president advising against it.
“You don’t have to buy so much,” he said. “Relax. We’re doing great. It all will pass.”
The CDC said on Sunday that any public gatherings of 50 people or more should be canceled for the next eight weeks, and “social distancing” must be put into action until May.
The U.S has over 3,000 cases of the virus with over 60 people dead.
