Vivica A. Fox is fed up with Kanye West and his antics!

The co-host of Fox Soul’s “Cocktails With Queen” went all the way off on Kanye West over the disrespectful comments he made about George Floyd — the Black man who was killed by a white Minneapolis police officer who knelt on his neck for nearly 9 minutes.

As we previously reported, Ye appeared on Drink Champs where he claimed that Floyd died from fentanyl, not by a police officer’s knee: “I watched the George Floyd documentary that Candace Owens put out. One of the things that his two roommates said was they want a tall guy like me, and the day that he died, he said a prayer for eight minutes,” West told Drink Champs. “They hit him with the fentanyl. If you look, the guy’s knee wasn’t even on his neck like that.” Fox said after listening to that she’s had enough: “Yo Kanye, fuck you and I mean that with everything inside of me.” Fox, who was visibly upset went on to state that “George Floyd was murdered in front of all of us. I’m tired of saying pray for him [Kanye], get his meds. I’m so done.”

The interview between N.O.R.E. and Ye has since been removed from YouTube and Revolt.

N.O.R.E who is the co-host and co-founder of DC, issued an apology for Kanye’s comments on his show. While appearing on the Breakfast Club he said:

“We actually posted it and saw that this was the wrong edit, took it down, and then it got reposted again with those same comments that was there,” N.O.R.E, one of the podcast’s hosts, said on The Breakfast Club after apologizing for the contents of his interview. “So it was a mistake on our behalf, on our team’s behalf. Because we don’t edit nothing… but we will start from here on out, because we understand that’s people that’s hurt out there.”

Meanwhile, Floyd’s family said that they are now considering suing West with Lee Merritt, an attorney for the Floyd family. The simply feel “absolutely betrayed by his comments.”

“While one cannot defame the dead, the family of #GeorgeFloyd is considering suit for Kanye’s false statements about the manner of his death,” Merritt tweeted. “Claiming Floyd died from fentanyl not the brutality established criminally and civilly undermines & diminishes the Floyd family’s fight.”

Merritt said, there are other legal avenues to pursue like intentional infliction of emotional distress.

“I have put together a working team to investigate [West’s] statements and to investigate the source of those statements,” Merritt said.

As we previously reported, the former officer Derek Chauvin was convicted in April 2021 on charges of second-degree unintentional murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter and sentenced to 22 and half years in prison.
