Whew! Victoria Monet is not here for the Internet BS! The “On My Momma” artist took to social media to set the record straight after fans caught her account liking a tweet amid the Twitter beef between Glorilla and JT.

In an Instagram Live clip, the Grammy-winner explained that she had nothing to do with liking the tweet of JT’s mugshot. She noted that it was someone from her social media team who was “pressing buttons.” From there, Monet said she fired the person, before adding “I really have no problem with either of them. I’m sending so much love. I don’t f*ck with Black women beefing online… I’m your world peace b*tch.”

While that’s all cleared up, tension is still in the air following the back-and-forth between the two rappers yesterday.

In case you missed it: tensions between JT and GloRilla surfaced, with rumors swirling about a past altercation between the two artists. Speculation arose after reports suggested that GloRilla had allegedly slapped JT at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards.

Taking to social media, JT addressed the rumors, asserting that GloRilla had not been involved in any such incident. She called out GloRilla for releasing her new song “Aite” that seemed to reference the rumored altercation, questioning the sudden shift to promoting female unity.

In response to accusations of subliminal messages in her tweets, JT clarified that she harbored no ill will towards other artists and always wished them the best. When asked about the origin of the rumor and GloRilla’s response, JT suggested that GloRilla may have waited for the right moment to address the issue, leveraging the controversy for promotional purposes.

GloRilla entered the online conversation, dismissing JT’s comments and making personal attacks. The exchange escalated as both artists traded insults, with GloRilla eventually dismissing the interaction as a means of garnering free publicity.

Although things have died down, neither of the girls have really squashed their beef. While we wait for that to happen, let us know your thoughts on this in the comment box below!
