Looks like Gypsy Rose Blanchard estranged husband Ryan Anderson is firing back!
As we previously reported, the 32-year-old, known for her involvement in a high-profile case, took the first step by filing a restraining order against Anderson. Just days later, Anderson, a 37-year-old special education teacher, followed suit by filing his own restraining order against Blanchard.
The couple tied the knot in July 2022 while Blanchard was serving a sentence for second-degree murder. This sentence stemmed from her involvement in the murder of her mother, Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard, orchestrated with her then-boyfriend, Nicholas Godejohn. Dee Dee had a history of fabricating illnesses for her daughter, leading experts to believe she suffered from Munchausen by proxy. After serving eight years of her sentence, Blanchard was released from prison late last year. From there, she quickly started her new life with Anderson.
While they appeared to be going strong, things quickly went downhill. Blanchard first broke the news of their separation in a private Facebook post. She said at the time, “People have been asking what is going on in my life,” Blanchard, who served eight years in prison, said Thursday. “Unfortunately my husband and I are going through a separation and I moved in with my parents home down the bayou. I have the support of my family and friends to help guide me through this. I am learning to listen to my heart. Right now I need time to let myself find… who I am.”

Days after she went ahead and officially filed for divorce. So what was the reason? Well, why she hasn’t publicly given an update herself, insiders tell outlets that she expressed fear of Anderson’s behavior resembling that of her mother.
As previously reported by TMZ, sources also claimed that an explosive fight over his food hoarding was a contributing factor to their divorce.
As the legal proceedings unfold, friends of Blanchard have voiced concerns about her well-being, highlighting the complexities of her past experiences and the challenges she continues to face in her personal life.
Amid all the drama, Blanchard has since reunited with her ex-boyfriend. However, his mom said they are just friends.
