Looks like a West Hollywood Jeweler is taking #NickiMinaj to court over some “unpaid bills for custom jewelry,” according to TMZ.
The news outlet reports, the female rappers stylist, Brett Alan Nelson signed a contract with Roseark jewelry store to loan Nicki some fire jewels so she could make a few public appearances. The two reportedly had an agreement that the jewelry had to be returned by a certain date. According to the lawsuit, Roseark claims Nicki’s stylist did not return 66 pieces of jewelry by the return date. Roseark also claims, once the jewelry was finally returned two of the items were damaged.
Nicki’s team has already responded back to the allegations. Her attorney, Jordan Siev, reportedly told TMZ, “We have not been presented with any evidence that any of the jewelry at issue was damaged by Nicki. This lawsuit appears to be nothing more than an ordinary insurance claim by the jeweler designed to generate publicity for itself and extract a payment to which it is not entitled. We will defend the lawsuit vigorously.”
Nicki’s team is fighting back alleging that all the items were returned by the agreed date. The jewelry store also noted that they have sent her team multiple invoices which totaled up to $26,239.50 plus interest and they say they were never paid.
Nicki lawyers believes this whole situation is all for clout and none of it is true. #Socialites how do you think this will play out?
